Ever since Sambo left North Carolina to Mex, things started to get real shady. These niggas in the streets were trying to test us hard. We had just got hit for fifty bricks… like, who the fuck would do some shit like that? I’ve been with Sambo for eight years and no shit had ever popped off, now all of a sudden, niggas getting greedy. I called Mex, Tone, Bug and Marcus because we needed to figure out who had the balls to rob us. I had a bad vibe something wasn't right about the crew, like we had a rat amongst us. Like B.I.G. would say “more money more problems”.

I hope my vibe was wrong because I loved these niggas with everything in me. They are my kids’ Godfathers. I had four kids, two boys and two girls. Carlos Jr., Jeremy, Connie and Marie were their names. I had been married to my high school sweetheart, Christy for nine years and she loves my brothers as if they were hers.

Mex, Tone and Bug pulled at the same time, but I didn't see Marcus. I thought he would be here by now, but he wasn't. I dapped up my boys and we headed in the house. “Los, tell me this shit is a joke man, what the hell is going on?” Mex was yelling.

“I don't know man, what the hell is going on. One of the little niggas that be at this spot said niggas rolled up three cars deep with ski masks on and machine guns.

“Where that nigga at Los?” Mex was heated and I could tell, because he was normally cool, but I knew he had to step up because he was now in the family business. I told him the nigga was in the back and I went and got him. Mex was looking the young boy named little Q, up and down, then he began to speak to him.

“Hey little nigga, tell me what you saw and don't miss a fucking thing. I want to know everything.” Little Q was scared as hell. He was crying while telling Mex what he saw.

“I was standing on the stoop. The nigga Alan and I were posted up as we had been doing for two years now. Alan went to use the bathroom and I was out by myself. I was about to sit down, when I heard tires screeching. I looked up to see three trucks come to a stop and niggas with AK’s jumping out, telling me to put my hands up. Alan came out the door and they let off a shot in his arm, and he fell down. One dude hit me in back of the head with the butt of the gun and I was out. When I woke up, the first thing I did was hit up Los and Alan’s ass was gone,” Little Q told Mex.

“Aight little nigga, the fact that you stayed here through that nasty ass gash in the back of your head, tells me you’re loyal to me.
